The prerequisite for Teaching the IDA is Learning the IDA. This Training and Certification is offered to experienced professionals that have previously learned and used the IDA and would like to train others from their own agency or institution to learn the IDA.
TOT Learning Objectives:
Develop the skills and knowledge to teach the IDA process and framework including data gathering from multiple sources, the Family, Health, and Child Development components, Integration and synthesis, findings and recommendations
Develop the skills and knowledge to teach using the IDA Forms: Parent Report Form, Family Data Recording Guide, Health Data Recording Guide, and the IDA Record with the Provence Profile
Develop the expertise to teach scoring the Provence Profile through Components review, practice scoring and case review.
